It's never too late to start reading.
This past Tuesday was National Book Lovers Day and it’s never too late to celebrate!
Growing up, I used to read all the time. Truly, I pretty much always had a book in my hand. But life got busy and I wasn’t able to read as frequently as I used to. Recently, I’m trying to make that switch back into bookworm life yet again!
Here are a few recent (and old) reads that will get you back into reading again.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
This will always be one of my favorites. It’s a super quick read from the perspective of a boy writing letters, but has a lot of meaning and depth between the simple words. Read the book first then watch the movie (THE Hermione Granger is in it!)
The Summer I Turned Pretty Series
I may be 25-years-old, but these teen books will always have a piece of my heart. With Amazon’s drop of the new series, they’ve grown back to being super popular and I’m not at all mad about it! This is a fall-in-love-with-the-characters kind of series you won’t put down. You'll knock out three books in a matter of days!
Anything Colleen Hoover
TikTok told me to start reading Colleen Hoover books and I’m happy I listened. If you like classic romance with a bit of mystery, you can’t go wrong here! It Ends With Us might just have gotten me back into reading...
What’s on your reading list?
Always,
Alina Ann
