National Peanut Day is the perfect excuse to fire up the oven and bake your favorite peanut recipe!
I am a peanut butter fan through and through (and could eat it every single day). Here’s one of my favorite peanut (butter) recipes!
Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter (I always add just a little extra)
1/2 Cup Softened Butter
1 Egg
1 1/2 All-Purpose Flower
3/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
Bag of Hershey Kisses
Extra Sugar!
Prep:
Heat the oven to 375°F. Beat together the sugars, peanut butter, butter and egg until all mixed in! Stir in the dry ingredients of flour, baking soda and baking powder until you have delicious cookie dough!
Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in additional sugar (so that they’re fully covered!) Please them onto an ungreased cookie sheets and throw in the oven!
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Once you take out of the oven, pop a Hersey’s kiss right in the center, then let cool!
