My Summer Recap

A truly amazing summer

I may not be going back to school, but the end of summer and beginning of fall still feels like a fresh start and a new chapter.

This summer was truly one to remember and I'm thankful for everything that it brought. A few highlights below...

We bought a house!!!

After what felt like an endless search (but really only a few months in a super crazy market) and 9 offers in, house #10 accepted our offer and we couldn't be more excited! We became homeowners, started slight renovations and moved in this summer and I still can't believe it. Feeling very adult.

Reconnected with Friends

There is always, always time for a girls trip! My best friends from as long as I can remember and I all live apart now, but this summer we took a trip to Austin, Texas, and picked up exactly where we left off. We each have our own lives and may not talk every single day, but I know that I can always count on them to be there for me and I'm forever grateful for our friendship.

Took Time Away with Family

It's really hard for me to take that PTO, take some time for myself and just relax. This summer, I worked remotely for a week in Chicago, spent time with family and saw by baby niece and realized that it was just what I needed AND nothing fell apart while I was gone. I'm lucky to work at a place that encourages taking time for yourself and to have a team that supports me too.

Started a New Role at Work

My full-time job is the absolute best and I get excited to go into work every day! This summer, we launched a few new products, had a massive launch event and grew the team in a big way! At the same time, I transitioned into a new role that I am loving and can't wait for what's next.
