The Best Dessert Spots in Dallas

This one's for all of you with a sweet tooth like me!

If it was socially acceptable to skip dinner and go right for the dessert, I’d do it every single time. I seriously have the biggest sweet tooth ever!

If you’re like me, here are some of the best spots to satisfy your sweet cravings in Dallas!

If you’re in the mood for ice cream, make it a donut ice cream sandwich with a mix-in of your choice! I know this might sound like a lot, but it’s worth every bite (and super easy to cut in half and share). Cookie dough ice cream mixed with Oreos is my personal favorite!

If you’re ever needing a fancy cake or cute cupcakes, this is the spot. Or if you just want something sweet when you’re walking around Highland Park Village, this is it. Fun fact: Bird Bakery made our wedding cake/cupcakes and it was delish!

This tiny French bakery in West Village is a must in Dallas. Whether you’re wanting a sweet treat for the morning with coffee or a decadent dessert for later, it’s super authentic and I’m in awe by it's cuteness every time I go!

I’m a big edible cookie dough fan and this is the best spot Sean and I have found in the area! Although it’s a little outside the city, it’s always worth the trip if you’re in the mood for cookie dough that won’t give you salmonella.

Ok, apple pie is my favorite dessert EVER and this is THE BEST apple pie I’ve ever had. If that isn’t convincing enough, I don’t know what is. Emporium Pies is definitely at the top of my list at all times!

I’m not the biggest cheesecake fan in the world and even I love this spot! They have the cutest personal cheesecakes in little jars or huge slices that are perfect for sharing. It’s right off of Oak Lawn and if you aren’t looking, you might just miss it! A hidden gem.

Donuts… My favorite breakfast dessert! This Bishop Arts spot is where you’ll want to go for all of the gourmet donuts. Think caramelized bacon, whoopie pie, strawberry shortcake and so much more. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I couldn’t write a dessert blog without mentioning my favorite of all time, Crumbl Cookies! Even if you aren’t in Dallas, there are locations all over the country and you have to try them if you haven’t already! The flavors rotate every week and you’ll be coming back to try them all (I know I do).

Moral of the story? Life is too short to skip dessert.
